In addition to this list, the AES UK also recognises horses and ponies from other studbooks that are suitable as an outcross into the studbook for performance breeding for one of the following disciplines: Showjumping, Dressage and Eventing. This can include horses and ponies from the following UK studbooks:

The Arab Horse Society, BAPSH, British Connemara Pony Society, British Palomino Society, Cleveland Bay Horse Society, Coloured Horse and Pony Society, Friesian Horse Association of Great Britain and Ireland, Hackney Horse Society, Haflinger Society of Great Britain, Highland Pony Society, Lipizzaner National Studbook Association of Great Britain, Lipizzaner Society of Great Britain, Lusitano Breed Society of Great Britain, National Pony Society, The Scottish Sports Horse, The Sports Pony Studbook Society, Weatherbys, Welsh Pony & Cob Society.

Please note that we will need reassurance that the stallion has completed an appropriate grading procedure and that he is suitable for producing offspring in line with our breeding goals. We reserve the right to offer auxiliary instead of main studbook papers when we deem this appropriate. If you are unsure about the suitability of a stallion or the level of papers we can offer, please do not hesitate to contact us prior to sending your registration documentation.
